As a family physician, I take pride in providing great care to patients of all ages and backgrounds. Having grown up in 3 countries, many cities, and on nearly every end of the socioeconomic scale – it is important for me to help patients stay healthy so they can reach their full potential. I provide care for chronic and acute problems, and am a strong proponent of preventative care.
Focusing on a unique individual’s needs and wishes is key to providing the best care. Whether it is coming together to make difficult decisions together, or getting to know a patient to find what motivates them. I find it best to always focus on a patient, to provide the best medicine.
Empathy and care lies at the heart of every patient encounter. Spending my early childhood without consistent healthcare and training in many disadvantaged communities, I know that every person deserves the best set of listening ear from that trusted expert they deserve.
In today’s world, there is an overabundance of health and science (mis)information accessible to nearly everybody. I strive to condense that information into usable, understandable, and accurate knowledge for my patients; using the most up to date and well reviewed studies and expert consensus.
“Laughter is the best medicine” – Sun Tzu. Pharmaceutical industries may disagree, but I find many times – doctor’s visits are unnecessarily stressful and a burden towards one’s own healthcare. Your physician should always help bring joy and give you the best opportunity to have the most fulfilling life.
